What We Do

Our programs produce measurable positive impacts and help children to reach their true potential. They include:

  • One-to-one mentoring programs in schools, communities and nonschool sites, such as the Island Girl Power clubhouse.
  • High school mentoring programs for exceptional teens who excel in academics, demonstrate strong leadership and character.
  • Volunteer trainings and retreats; high school leadership training.
  • Quarterly match support activities.

BBBSG employs trained caseworkers to oversee mentoring matches. They screen and train volunteers and mentors to ensure match success and continuity. Volunteer opportunities are available in many of the BBBSG programs.

Who We Serve

Throughout Guam, volunteer “Bigs” provide caring and consistent friendships to children who need that extra someone. They do so with the support and guidance of our trained BBBSG staff.
