Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guam Vacancy Announcement

The successful candidate would be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, programming and fund development activities of Guam's premier youth mentoring nonprofit organization. Minimum qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in social services or related field
  • Management experience in a nonprofit, public or private organization
  • Excellent grant writing skills and grant/project management skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong data management skills (program and financial data)
  • Ability to interact effectively with people of diverse backgrounds

Primary responsibilities include recruiting mentors and mentees, providing case management support; fundraising (grant-writing, donor solicitation, special events); directing all office communications; liaising with program partners including government agencies, NGOs and corporate partners; and supervision of full-time and part-time staff. Some evening/weekend work required.
